“DREAM ON”, an original theatrical production written and directed by Rajarshi Bhattacharya, the founder of DFW-Play was brought on stage twice, first at NABC, Houston on July 11th 2016 and then again, on popular demand at BADFW, Durga Puja on October 17th 2016. “Dream On” is a compelling story about escaping the norms to chase your dreams and try out something novel. It is the chronicle of a musician – his pursuit for self-discovery through his experiences with family, friends, mentors, strangers and lovers, and his exposure to a potpourri of music ranging from Bengali folk to English rock and roll. A reflection on life, freedom, and the lessons we learn from one another while following our dreams, “Dream On” is bound to connect you with the characters, touch your soul, and take you on a journey filled with aspirations, struggles and success.
